Samsung SSD Recovery
Your Samsung SSD failed. We recover what it took with it.
From 990 Pro NVMe drives to soldered modules inside ultrabooks — we diagnose the real fault and recover Samsung SSDs other workshops write off.
The problem
Reliable, until it isn't.
Samsung SSDs perform well — but firmware, controller and NAND faults still take them down without warning.
- Not detected by BIOS or OS, or reporting as 0% health
- Corrupt firmware or controller failure — drive locks up or vanishes
- Read-only mode — the drive is visible but won't accept writes
- NAND wear and degraded cells on older or heavily-used drives
- Power surges and sudden shutdowns that corrupt the mapping tables
- Encrypted volumes — BitLocker or TCG Opal drives that won't unlock
Important: stop using the drive now. Do not attempt a firmware update or flash on a failing SSD — it can turn a recoverable fault into an unrecoverable one.

Process
Straightforward, honest, fixed-price.
- 01
Diagnosis
Send the drive, or the whole device for soldered storage. We identify the actual failure — controller, firmware, NAND or logical — and report back with a clear verdict.
- 02
Fixed quote
You approve a fixed price based on the real fault before any recovery work begins. No surprises later.
- 03
Laboratory recovery
Firmware repair, chip-level work or logical reconstruction as the case requires, always onto verified images.
- 04
Verified return
Files verified openable and returned on encrypted media, typically within days of approval. Fast-track options available for urgent cases.
Transparent pricing
Samsung SSD recovery pricing.
Published starting prices — your fixed quote is confirmed after diagnosis. Prices exclude VAT.
All prices below are net (before VAT). We add VAT at 20% on top — shown beneath each price as “inc VAT”, which is the total you actually pay. For example, a £425 net recovery is £510 including VAT. VAT-registered businesses can usually reclaim it.

Questions
The honest answers.
My Samsung SSD isn't detected at all. Is it recoverable?
Often, yes. "Not detected" is usually a controller or firmware fault rather than dead NAND, and both are recoverable failure classes in the lab. Diagnosis tells you exactly where you stand before you commit to anything.
The SSD is soldered into my laptop. Can you still recover it?
Yes — soldered and integrated Samsung SSDs in ultrabooks and business laptops are a specialism of this lab. Send the whole device and we will work at chip or controller level as the case requires.
My drive is BitLocker or TCG Opal encrypted. Does that block recovery?
Not necessarily. We handle secure decryption and recovery of encrypted Samsung SSDs as part of the same process, provided you can supply the relevant keys or credentials.
Can you recover a Samsung SSD stuck in read-only mode?
This is one of the most common Samsung SSD faults we see, and it is frequently recoverable. The drive is usually still readable — the failure is in the controller's write path, not the stored data itself.
How much does Samsung SSD recovery cost?
It depends on the failure class, which is why diagnosis comes first and the quote is fixed. Logical cases cost less than firmware or chip-level work. You always know the price before we start.
Two minutes to describe the failure — an engineer responds with an honest recoverability view, fixed pricing and next steps.
