Every case ends with a report written by DF Sentinel Registrar, the reporting engine, for the person reading it, not the software that produced it — a plain-English headline first, then key numbers, then a complete technical record underneath for whoever needs it.
What the summary looks like.

Findings are exceptions-only, in plain English, with a glossary explaining what a hash is and what entropy means. Technical flags are translated into sentences, and wording stays factual and non-accusatory throughout — a finding is reported as exactly what it is, never dressed up or down.
Every hash, every file, still there for whoever needs it.
A collapsible technical appendix holds every hash, parser result and metadata detail per file. Printing the report automatically expands everything, so the printed or PDF copy is always the full record — nothing is only visible on screen.
Provably unaltered, carrying your name.
Each report's own SHA-256 checksum is written alongside it, so any alteration after generation is provable. Reports carry the customer's organisation name and contact details — set once in Settings — DF Sentinel white-labels the header rather than branding the output as its own.
Every report is accompanied by CSV and JSON manifests carrying the same underlying data, ready to import into whatever system your institution already uses to report holdings upward.
