The service
A straightforward way off Drobo.
This is a migration service, not a repair — for Drobo units that are working but being retired, replaced or upgraded.
Drobo's proprietary BeyondRAID layout makes drives difficult to read outside a Drobo enclosure, which leaves many owners unsure how to move their data when it's time to switch platforms. We handle that transfer end to end, so your files land safely on whatever you replace it with.

- No new device? We can advise on and supply one suited to your capacity and use case.
- Prefer to keep your existing drives? We can copy your data back onto the same drives once removed from the Drobo, so the hardware isn't wasted.
- Every file checked for integrity after transfer — not just copied, but confirmed to open correctly.

Send it in
Drop the Drobo — or just the individual drives — at our Belfast laboratory, or courier it to us from anywhere in the UK or Ireland. We'll give you clear packaging instructions first.

Secure offload
Your data is copied off the Drobo onto our secure systems under documented chain of custody.

Choose your new storage
Send us a new device such as a Synology or QNAP, ask us to source one for you, or opt to reuse the drives pulled from the Drobo itself.

Copy and verify
Data is written to the new device and every file checked for integrity — nothing is marked complete until it has been confirmed to open correctly.

Secure return
Your new storage device, plus the original Drobo or drives, is securely packaged and returned to you.
