My Corsair SSD shows 0GB or isn't detected at all. Is it dead?
Not necessarily. "0GB" and "not detected" are classic symptoms of controller or firmware failure rather than dead NAND — and both are recoverable failure classes in the lab. Diagnosis tells you definitively where you stand.
Why does a Corsair SSD need a specialist rather than software?
Corsair's faster drives run Phison E12, E16 and E18 controllers optimised for speed, which makes them more sensitive to firmware faults and thermal stress. Once the controller itself fails, recovery software has nothing to talk to — the data can only be reached by reading the NAND chips directly and reconstructing the flash translation layer.
I accidentally reformatted or cloned over my Corsair SSD. Can you still recover it?
Often, yes, if you stop using the drive immediately. The less it is written to after the event, the better the odds — power it down and send it to us rather than attempting further recovery tools.
How much does Corsair SSD recovery cost?
